An upgraded version of something I made last year for a Halo greetings card competition

Can anybody recommend any TVs for Xbox gaming.

…Look right they need to update the warnings, I can stare at a modern game on a sexy LED screen for fucking DAYS and not die, but I take a 45 minute driving theory test looking at one of those shitty box monitors and I feel like someone tried to fuck my eyesockets.
Those things are bastards
I swear one time I was playing WDL Warjetz on PS2 and I used to only be allowed to play like 3 hours max cos of all the warnings, and then one time I stayed on for 6 hours and my eyes were fucked over. Either my eyes are getting their shit together over time or better graphics and better screens mean that we can spam games for longer.
What do you guys think?
Okay so on the RT podcast they said that most games start out badly and never have really awesome openings but then are definitely the best in the middle/end.
What’s your favorite video game intro and why?

REECE SPENCER’S IDEA, IF YOU CHOOSE TO STEAL THE IDEA AND GET RICH FROM THE GAME, YOU HAVE TO DO IT JUSTICE AND ALSO SEND ME A FREE COPY BITCH.
I want to clarify that some of things I speak about will not be possible until maybe 1 or 2 generations of console down the line)
In the opening cutscene your ship flies towards a planet, the planet is lush green with oceans and jungles and swamps, large moons are seen nearby. The ship is maybe half a km long, full of chambers supporting a couple hundred families, and enough food production capabilities to support a very controlled population.
The ship hurtles through the atmosphere and slows down using reverse thrusters, clips are shown of nervous families in their quarters, high ranking officers on deck looking at screens with panic in their eyes, warning lights flashing. People have waited tens of years for this moment. The huge ship touches down on the ground and everything is silent, everyone remains in their quarters.
This is when you are summoned to the bridge, the captain (and now President of the colony) is ordering diagnostics on the ship, running tests on the atmosphere and such. You are an elite soldier who commands 2 teammates, you are fully customizable and have a bolt action rifle (which can be swapped in the armoury with other weapons if you wish), you are kitted out with other ammo types and tactical equipment which you will need to make full use of to survive. This is the moment you have been waiting for, the first exploration of the new planet.
Here’s an update to an article I posted about two months ago. According to Kotaku, there were female characters in the tech demo of Black Ops 2. Whether these characters make it to the final game is undetermined but hey here’s to calling it.
FEMALE LEAD FOR BLACK OPS 2?
I’ve read a late of articles recently wondering when will the modern first person military shooter employ a female lead character. It’s a good question. If you look back at the MFPS genre most, if not all, have never even allowed you to customize your online avatar to be female. The only FPS I can think of is Perfect Dark and that series has been dormant for years. With Call of Duty stagnating as of late, Treyarch could employ a female lead to change up points of view throughout the story they want to tell.
It makes sense that Treyarch would lean towards a female lead for another reason. When Black Ops came out female fans lashed out at the developer for not including any women in the game. The backlash was some back that Treyarch offered female gamers free Xbox Live Avatar costumes to make amends. What better way to further this but by including a female character in a powerful role.
If you look at the demographic of gamers who play Call of Duty as many as 35% of players are female. If you consider that Modern Warfare 3 has over one million people online at any given time that equals a lot of female gamers. With that said I ask the ladies out there, would you prefer a female lead character for a change?
In conclusion, maybe game developers feel that a female lead has some sort of stigma behind it. Maybe the male studio heads are afraid of seeing a women get down right medieval with a SPAS. Maybe they are comfortable enough with their own manhood to see a women in a more empowered role.
I wouldn’t mind this :) DO IT!
